2026 United Fund Nonprofit Funding Application 

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for funding, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a nonprofit organization based in the Globe-Miami area
  • Be current and in good standing with the Arizona Corporation Commission
  • Maintain active 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service
  • Deliver services within Globe-Miami, as outlined in United Fund’s Articles of Incorporation

Purpose of Funding
This funding is intended to support general operations that contribute to the sustainability and effectiveness of your organization. This may include staffing, programming, facilities, communications, or infrastructure. It is not designed for single events or capital-only requests.

Annual Application Requirement
All organizations must reapply each year to be considered for funding.
Funding awarded in one year does not guarantee future awards. Applications should be completed with care and accuracy.

Note: Submittable’s "Collaboration" feature allows multiple team members to work on the same application or upload supporting documents.

Primary Contact Expectations
Each applicant must designate a main point of contact who:

  1. Checks their email regularly (Submittable notifications and follow-ups are sent by email)
  2. Can be reached by phone (include a direct number)
  3. Has access to key organizational information (e.g., financial reports, number of people served)
  4. Will attend, or ensure representation at, the October Kickoff Meeting and January Annual Meeting
  5. Is authorized to respond to United Fund’s CPA or auditors if needed, AND
  6. Can assist with, or forward, requests for quotes, photos, or impact stories for public communications

  • Funding decisions announced: September–October 2025
  • Funding distribution begins: January 2026

Funding Availability
United Fund’s grant capacity is directly tied to the strength of our annual community workplace giving campaigns.
In recent years, United Fund has awarded up to $580,000 across as many as 27 agencies in a single funding cycle.
